The best language we found to describe the interrelationships and interdependence of all living
things in the web of life in which we live is illustrated by the image below borrowed from the National Peace Academy.  We use this holistic vision to peace-learning because it helps us think in an interdisciplinary way about environmental sustainability and science, human and social behavior, right relationships with diverse peoples, communities and organizations, as well the importance of as our how our personal relationship with our self influences our attitudes and how we act on conflict with integrity.
